Jordan - December 2007

 

I wanted to get away around Christmas time but solo travellers often have nasty 'single supplements' to pay. Voyages Jules Verne thoughtfully arranges some tours where single travellers are not forced to pay extra and looking through their 'no single supplement' offers found a 'Discover Jordan' tour.

 I hadn't really any idea what I was letting myself in for, but after booking I researched on the internet and read the guide book that VJV kindly enclosed with my tickets.  It seemed that Jordan had a lot more historical and cultural attraction than I had ever imagined.

Jordan is filled with cultural and historical wonders and as the tour offered a chance to see much of what the country has to offer I've decided to break this trip into separate pages for each of the main sights.
