The Antarctic Sound
 

At the Northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula is the Antarctic Sound.

Here the fog and the icebergs create a surreal introduction to Antarctica itself.

Here was our first opportunity to leave the ship and get to Antarctica, with landings at the Esperanza base in Hope Bay and at Brown Bluff.
